Welcome to Pennsylvania Veterinary Care

Mission

It is the mission of Pennsylvania Veterinary Care to enhance the longevity and quality of pets’ lives by providing the service and level of care that we expect for our pets and ourselves.

Philosophy

“Treating your pets as our own”:  means providing your pet with the highest level of care and compassion.  Our pets are members of our family and yours will be treated the same.

Serving as an advocate for your pet, it is our responsibility to be thorough in our evaluation, make sound recommendations, and keep you abreast of current trends in the field of veterinary medicine.

Accurate history taking, comprehensive physical exams, diagnostic testing, experience and knowledge help us to be thorough in our evaluations.

Our recommendations are based on our evaluation of your pet, our experience, current knowledge, trends in the field of veterinary medicine, and close consideration of the feelings of you and your pet.  Ultimately, we wish to promote quality of life for your pet and protect that special bond that you and your pet share.

You are the primary caretaker and decision maker for your pet, therefore, informing and educating you on any issues pertinent to your pet’s care is a top priority.  Our main focus is on prevention, although, when illness is an issue we strive to keep you as informed as possible, so you can make wise decisions.

Services

Our hospital is a full service medical, dental, and surgical center dedicated to providing the highest quality and most comprehensive pet care available.  Our focus is on prevention, but we are able to handle most medical and surgical cases.  For cases requiring a specialist, we have a good working relationship with Michigan State University Veterinary Clinical Center as well as many other specialists in the Mid-Michigan area.
